Leslie’s lifelong love of gardens and wild beauty engaged her in three decades of 3-D plant-wrangling...nursery work, private floristry, growing for farmer’s market, teaching classes, garden consultation, and growing her own expansive plant haven in the countryside of Carlton, OR.
In 2018, she felt drawn to engage the plant world in 2-D with watercolor and has been growing a collection of botanical illustrations ever since.
The Leafy Lexicon, The Ecology of Heart & Place— is home to her collection of fine paper goods. The intersection of beauty, botanical history, and spirituality all inform the finished works.
The collection offers joyful greeting cards, a limited edition botanical calendars, art books, garlands, etc...
